This Privacy Policy explains how Lemon Law Assist Inc., a California law firm (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through lemonlawassist.com and any related subdomains and services (the “Site”).

1. The Firms Covered by This Policy

Information you provide may be shared among the following law firms for the purpose of evaluating and handling your potential claim:

Lemon Law Assist Inc. — a California law firm; the operator of this Site.
Quill & Arrow LLP — a California law firm handling California lemon law matters, to which California claims may be referred.
Consumer Protection Law Group Inc. — a California law firm and affiliated firm handling matters for consumers located outside California, which may associate local counsel where required.

These are law firms, not data brokers. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your telephone number or SMS opt-in with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us: name, telephone number, email address, mailing address, and details about your vehicle and claim — such as year, make, model, VIN, purchase or lease information, warranty status, repair history, and repair orders — plus any documents or messages you send us.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, referring URL, dates and times of access, and similar analytics data, collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

Information from other sources: our advertising and intake partners, publicly available records, and service providers who help us evaluate claims.

Sensitive personal information. We generally do not seek sensitive personal information as defined by California law. If your claim involves health, disability, or precise location details, that information may be collected as part of evaluating your matter. We use it only to provide and evaluate legal services and do not use it to infer characteristics about you.

3. Categories of Personal Information (California Notice)

In the preceding 12 months we may have collected these categories of personal information, using the categories set out in the California Consumer Privacy Act:

Identifiers — name, postal address, email, telephone number, IP address.
Customer records information (Civil Code §1798.80) — contact and vehicle purchase or lease information.
Commercial information — vehicle purchase, lease, warranty, and repair history.
Internet or network activity — browsing on our Site, interaction with our ads.
Geolocation data — general location inferred from IP address.
Inferences — whether your vehicle may qualify under a lemon law or warranty statute.
Sensitive personal information — only where your claim involves it, as described above.

4. How We Use Your Information

To evaluate whether you may have a lemon law or warranty claim.
To contact you about your inquiry by phone, text, and email.
To refer your matter to Quill & Arrow LLP or Consumer Protection Law Group Inc., or to associate local counsel, as described in our Terms of Use.
To provide legal services if you become a client.
To operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site.
To advertise our legal services, including measuring the performance of our advertising.
To comply with legal, ethical, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to lawyers.

Retention. We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to evaluate and follow up on your potential claim, and client and matter records for the period required by the California Rules of Professional Conduct and applicable law — generally at least five years after a matter closes, and longer where the file or law requires. Where we cannot state a fixed period, we determine it by the purpose for which the information was collected and our legal and ethical obligations.

5. Consent to Calls, Texts, and Emails

By submitting your information through this Site, by phone, or by text, you expressly consent to receive telephone calls, text messages, and emails from Lemon Law Assist Inc., Quill & Arrow LLP, and Consumer Protection Law Group Inc., and from their intake personnel and agents, at the number and email address you provide — including calls and texts placed with an automatic telephone dialing system, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or automated or AI-assisted messaging.

Consent is not a condition of receiving legal services and is not required to obtain any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.

Reply STOP to opt out of texts; reply HELP for help. You may revoke consent at any time by any reasonable means — replying STOP, using an email unsubscribe link, emailing info@lemonlawassist.com, or telling us by phone — and we will honor it as required by law. Tell us if you want all contact stopped and we will stop all of it.

We do not sell or share your telephone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and training. Where a call is recorded, you will be notified at the outset, as California law requires.

6. How We Disclose Information

We disclose personal information to:

The law firms named in Section 1, for evaluating and handling your claim.
Service providers under contract — hosting, CRM and intake software, telephony and messaging providers, email providers, document storage, and analytics — who may use it only to perform services for us.
Advertising and analytics partners, through cookies and pixels on the Site, as described in Section 7.
Others, when required — to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a firm reorganization.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

7. Cookies, Advertising, and Tracking

The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including tools from advertising and analytics providers such as Google and Meta. These may allow those providers to collect information about your activity over time and across other websites, which they use for measurement and to show you our ads elsewhere.

We treat this as “sharing” of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, even though no money changes hands and even where an exemption might arguably apply. We take the protective reading on purpose, and we give you the full opt-out rights described below on that basis. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your choices:

Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information mechanism described in Section 9, or email us.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other browser opt-out preference signals. If your browser sends one, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for that browser or device.
Adjust your browser cookie settings, and use the advertising controls offered by Google and Meta.

Do Not Track. Browsers may send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, and we do not respond to DNT signals. We do respond to Global Privacy Control signals, as stated above.

8. Your California Privacy Rights

California residents have the following rights. We extend them to every California visitor regardless of whether we meet the thresholds that would legally require it — we would rather give you the right than argue about whether we had to.

Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
Right to delete personal information we hold, subject to exceptions — including information we must retain under the rules governing lawyers and client files.
Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
Right to data portability.
Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or give you a lesser level of service because you exercised a privacy right.

9. How to Exercise Your Rights

We will verify your identity before acting, usually by matching the information you give us against what we already hold. We respond within 45 days and may extend once by another 45 days with notice. An authorized agent may submit a request with your written permission and proof of identity.

To opt out of sale or sharing, email us with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information,” or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, which we honor automatically.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information by unencrypted email or text before we confirm in writing that we represent you.

11. Third-Party Websites

The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. The Effective Date above shows when it last changed, and we review it at least once every 12 months. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
